Overview

Flashover Systems produces a line of independently engineered flashover simulators that provide safe, real-life environments in which firefighters can learn about fires. All over North America firefighters have been trained in our units.

Safety is at the heart of our designs. Features such as non-slip floors and doors without latches go a long way to preventing accidents from happening. High ceilings and proximity hoods reduce damage caused by radiant heat to firefighters' bunker gear. Our simulators comply with National Fire Protection Association codes 1001, 1403, and 1500.

Quality is key to the success of our products. It is present in the materials we use and in the construction methods we employ. The modules in all our designs are integrated, making our units stronger and more rigid than multi-piece designs. All welding is done by military-approved, ISO 9002-certified welding technicians in accordance with the best welding practices.

Every simulator is delivered completely constructed. Each stationary model arrives at the customer's site on a Lowboy Float trailer and is positioned with a 40-ton crane. Mobile models are built on their own integrated DOT-compliant trailers. In all cases, the load size is within standard limits so no special transport permits are required.

Our simulators are competitively priced.  We also offer leasing as an alternative to ownership in some areas.
