Flashover training capes extend the life of bunker gear by protecting it from the intense heat, flames, and debris inside flashover simulators. They are constructed of dual-mirrored aluminized Kevlar®, a material recognized by NFPA Standard 1976 for outer shells. The capes are designed to be worn over bunker coats and SCBA while allowing the firefighter freedom of movement.
