Flashover Unit Dedicated to Memory of Lt. Andy Fredericks

Rockland County, New York, dedicates one of two new flashover units from Flashover Systems to the memory of Lt. Andy Fredericks, who died September 11, 2001.

In memory of Lt. Andy Fredericks

The unit, which replaces a burn unit originally designed by Lt. Fredericks, has a thermal-tile-lined burn chamber, basement stairs, a "Columbus Drill" opening, a "Denver Drill" opening, and a slanted roof chop out.
