Fairfield FD takes delivery of new Mobile Flashover trainer
Fairfield Fire Department, in Connecticut, has taken delivery of a new Mobile Flashover trainer purchased with the assistance of the Homeland Security "Assistance to Firefighter Grant Program". The mobile trainer is completely demountable from the trailer and, if needed, can be placed on the ground for use as a stationary Flashover trainer. The Fairfield Fire Department training center is a Regional Training Center for the State of Connecticut, and it is expected that the mobile trainer will travel to the local Fire Departments for regular flashover recognition training.
